Chimney sweep marketing

Chimney marketing for chimney sweep, repair and dryer vent companies

We help chimney sweep, repair, fireplace and dryer vent companies with several trucks book more jobs from Google search, Google Maps, Google Ads and AI answers, planned for the burning season and the months around it. Every call and form is tracked to its source and, where your CRM or scheduling software records it, to the booked job. Two chimney companies' Google Ads results are in our portfolio.

Why chimney companies

What chimney marketing has to plan for

Chimney work follows the weather. Sweeps and inspections crowd into the fall and winter, and repairs and dryer vents fill the rest of the year. Chimney marketing works when it plans for both halves of the year and shows which calls became booked jobs.

Planned for the burning season and the months around it

In Google’s Keyword Planner data for the US, from October 2025 to September 2026, searches for a chimney sweep ran three to five times higher each month from October to January than in June. Searches for chimney repair held up through the summer, and searches for dryer vent cleaning stayed level all year. We plan the pages and the ads for both: sweeps and inspections before and during the season, and repairs, liners, caps and dryer vents around it.

Sweeps and repairs counted apart

Every call and form carries its source. Where your CRM or scheduling software records the job, the report shows which sources booked sweeps and inspections and which booked repairs and rebuilds, so you can see whether the marketing brings the jobs you want more of. Rankings and visits are in the report too, under the jobs.

Built for companies with several trucks

We work best with chimney companies that run three or more trucks and can put $3,500 a month or more into our fee, plus ad spend where ads are in the plan. The plan covers each town your trucks serve and the Business Profile of each location.

The problem

When the phone rings in October and goes quiet in May

The first cold week can fill the schedule for months. Spring and summer are harder to fill, and your office books jobs without knowing which marketing sent them.

Signs your chimney marketing needs work

Busy in the fall, quiet in the spring

Calls pile up once the weather turns cold, and nothing steady fills the schedule from April to August.

Leads shared with other companies

Bought chimney leads often go to several companies at once, so the homeowner hears three quotes and the job goes to whoever is cheapest.

Sweep calls when you want repair jobs

The phone fills with sweep requests, while the liner, crown and rebuild jobs that keep a crew busy for days come in by chance.

Another company above you on the map

Homeowners nearby see a chimney company with more reviews or a fuller profile before they see yours.

No idea which calls became jobs

Calls come from the website, Google Maps, ads, lead services and past customers, and no one can say which of them turned into booked repairs.

What we do

Our chimney marketing services

We choose the mix with you, from the jobs you want, the towns your trucks serve and your budget. Each service has its own page with the details.

Process

How we start with a chimney company

  1. Discovery

We start with the jobs you want more of, the towns your trucks cover, how many jobs your crews can take each week in and out of season, your average job by type, and the marketing and accounts you have today.

  2. Read what brings calls today

For each page of your site and each source, we look at the main search it shows up for and the calls and forms it brings. Where your records show booked jobs, we add the job type.

  3. Fix the base

We give each source its own tracked number, complete the Business Profile of each location, and add or rewrite the pages for repairs, liners and dryer vents and the area pages for your towns.

  4. Run and tune

We run the services we agreed on and check them every week: new search terms, missed calls and the pages people land on. Before and during the season the ads lean on sweeps and inspections; after it, on repairs and dryer vents. Searches that never book a job are taken out of the ads.

  5. Report every month

Each month you see calls and forms by source for each location, the jobs booked by type where your CRM or scheduling software records them, and what changed.

Reporting

What your monthly report shows

Each month you get a report for every location: calls and forms by source and, where your CRM or scheduling software records the booking, the jobs booked from them, with sweeps and inspections counted apart from repairs. No one can guarantee a number of jobs or the top spot on the map. What we promise is the work, done well, and an honest report on whether it's paying off.

FAQ

Questions chimney company owners ask about marketing

Which chimney companies do you work with?

Chimney sweep, chimney repair, fireplace and dryer vent companies in the USA and Canada that run three or more trucks. Our engagements suit businesses that can put $3,500 a month or more into our fee, plus ad spend where ads are in the plan. If you run one or two trucks, a complete Google Business Profile and a steady flow of reviews are a good place to start, and you can do both yourself. Our home services marketing page covers the other local trades we work with.

Have you worked with chimney companies before?

Yes. We ran Google Ads for Flue Experts, a chimney company in the Chicago area, in 2026, and for FS Chimney Services in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2025 and 2026, with every call and form from an ad counted as a lead. Their results are on the cards above and in their entries in our home services portfolio. We work with home service companies in the USA and Canada.

How do you fill the months after the burning season?

Searches for chimney repair hold up through the summer and searches for dryer vent cleaning stay level all year, while sweep searches drop by spring (Google Keyword Planner, US, October 2025 to September 2026). So the plan has two halves: sweeps and inspections from late summer into winter, and repairs, liners, caps and dryer vent cleaning in the spring and summer. An email to past customers goes out when their yearly sweep or inspection comes due. Our past customers and referrals page explains the emails.

Do you count a sweep the same as a repair or a rebuild?

No. A sweep, an inspection, a repair and a rebuild are different jobs, so the report counts them apart. Where your CRM or scheduling software records the job type, you see which sources booked sweeps and which booked repairs and rebuilds, so a busy month of sweeps can’t hide that repair calls fell. An inspection that turns into a repair still counts for the source that brought the first call.

Can chimney companies run Local Services Ads?

Not for chimney work today. Google’s list of trades that can run Local Services Ads in the USA and Canada has no chimney, fireplace or dryer vent category (as of November 2026), so for chimney work the paid side is Google Ads search campaigns. If your company also offers a trade on Google’s list, such as HVAC, that work can run Local Services Ads alongside. Those accounts have a weekly budget today; Google is moving accounts into Google Ads in stages through 2027, and once yours moves, the budget becomes a daily average. Our Local Services Ads page explains how we run them.

How soon will we see more booked jobs?

Google Ads can bring calls in the first weeks once the account is set up, and more of them in the season, when more homeowners search. Google Maps and SEO build over several months, so the pages for next season are worth starting well before it. Your monthly report shows calls and forms by source from the first month, and booked jobs where your CRM or scheduling software records them. Our Google Ads management page explains how we run the campaigns.

Who owns the accounts, the website and the logins?

You do. The ad accounts are in your company’s name, and you pay Google directly. The website, the domain and the logins are yours, and the call tracking, forms and reports stay yours if we part ways.

Is there a long contract?

No. There is no minimum term, and either side can stop with 14 days’ notice. For SEO and AI answers we recommend giving the work 4 to 6 months before judging the results.

What does chimney marketing cost?

Our monthly fee starts at $3,500 (USD), and the exact fee depends on the services, the number of locations and the towns you cover. Ad spend is separate: you pay Google directly, with no markup. Our pricing page explains how we price our work. To start, send us your website through the online presence check on this page.
